Adeleke Qualified To Contest – Osun Election Tribunal Rules

The Osun state governorship election tribunal has dismissed a petition by the All Progressives Congress seeking to disqualify Ademola Adeleke from contesting.

The tribunal also admitted all petitions submitted by the incumbent governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola.

As at the time of filing this report, the Tribunal approved the claims of the APC that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) malfunctioned during the election.

Armed police operatives were observed at the Osun State secretariat of the PDP and that of the APC, as well as the state office of the APC presidential campaign in Osogbo.

The road leading to the premises of Osun State High Court, where the panel will deliver the judgement was blocked to traffic, thus students, staff and others with business along the route had to trek long distances to their destinations.
