[ODUNEWS] January 25 – Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has declared Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27 as work-free days in advance of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the state.
Sani Bala Kabomo, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Home Affairs, made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday.
The holiday was declared by the state government to allow public personnel across the state to participate in providing President Buhari with a warm welcome as he commissions projects overseen by Governor Masari’s administration.
President Buhari is set to launch a multi-billion naira underpass and overhead bridge in the state capital, according to a source.
Other projects scheduled for completion include the newly constructed Katsina State Internal Revenue Service headquarters.
