Nigerian singer and activist Seun Kuti says the presidential candidate of the Labour party is an opportunist who cannot win the 2023 election.
He also described Obi as an “internet president” who lacks the structure across the country to win the presidential poll.
In a recent interview on TheMicOnPodcast, Seun Kuti argued that it would take the effort of dedicated Nigerians to save the nation and not ‘opportunists’ like Peter Obi, nor Omoyele Sowore who is his friend.
He stated that even if Sowore won the election, he can not function efficiently in a country with PDP and APC controlled states.
He pressed on to highlight how Peter Obi is an opportunist who moved to a socialist party, LP, after losing the primaries at PDP.
Seun Kuti insisted that Obi is simply an internet president whose election starts and ends on social media but not in a reality where he lacks structural background.
