Former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu, has said that it is his turn to be the president of the Nigerian senate, OduNews reports.
Kalu who is the chief whip of the 9th assembly disclosed this when speaking to Newsmen on Tuesday.
He boasted that he has not changed his known mobile phone number for about 24 years and he picks up his calls regularly. He added that even if he becomes the next Senate President, he would still be picking the call of the people

Kalu had earlier denied reports that he intends to run for the position claiming the focus should be on developing Nigeria.
Kalu disclosed that people have resorted to telling lies to assassinate his character over the position of the Senate presidency.
