Jane Fonda suggests abortion-seeking women should ignore laws during a Friday appearance on “The View.”
The Hollywood icon and far-left activist expressed her belief that women should be in control of their own bodies and that they should not be subjected to laws that dictate their reproductive rights.
Fonda’s comment on the popular daytime talk show sparked laughter and concern among the liberal panel. The 85-year-old actress said, “We’re not going back, I don’t care what the laws are, we’re not going back. Well, I’ve thought of murder,” in response to Joy Behar’s question on what can be done aside from marching and protesting the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court.

Although Behar attempted to defuse the situation by stating Fonda was joking, the comment left viewers and the panel unsure whether Fonda was indeed kidding.
Fonda’s long-standing advocacy for far-left causes has often placed her in the public eye, including her trip to North Vietnam in 1972 that earned her the nickname “Hanoi Jane.” While some veterans of the Vietnam War still resent her for the incident, Fonda has repeatedly apologized.
