Former President Donald Trump is reportedly brainstorming new ways to insult Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is gaining popularity among conservatives and Republicans.
According to Bloomberg, Trump plans to take DeSantis down by making fun of him, and one of the nicknames he’s considering is “Tiny D,” along with others such as “Ron DeSanctimonious,” “Meatball Ron,” “Ron DisHonest,” and “Ron DeEstablishment.”
Trump has a history of giving nicknames to his political foes, including Sleepy Joe, Lyin’ Ted, Little Marco, Crooked Hillary, Pocahontas, Crazy Bernie, and Low Energy Jeb.
However, the “D” shot at DeSantis is considered a low blow.

Bloomberg reports that Trump’s team is taking DeSantis seriously and is already carving out an attack plan, including labeling him a “RINO” (Republican in Name Only).
DeSantis has avoided mentioning Trump by name so far, but if the two go head-to-head for the Republican nomination, he may have to start getting in the gutter.
Trump’s strategy may not be effective if DeSantis continues to focus on his policies and accomplishments as governor of Florida.
