President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his eagerness to return to his home in Daura, Katsina state, during a dinner held in Abuja on Sunday. Buhari commended the outcome of the 2023 elections and congratulated Nigerians for recognizing the power of their votes.
Speaking to the attendees, Buhari acknowledged that the general elections had empowered the Nigerian electorate by giving them a voice and making their votes count. He humorously remarked that he was looking forward to going back to his cows and sheep in Daura, as they were easier to control than his fellow Nigerians.
