Today at OduNews.com, we report on the recent royal happenings surrounding the Coronation service at Westminster Abbey. Many were curious to see if Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, would join the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Although Prince Harry was seen smiling as he entered a car outside Westminster Abbey after the Coronation service, he was notably absent from the balcony event where the Royal Family traditionally greets the public with waves.
While other senior members of the Royal Family proceeded towards the Palace in carriages as part of the procession, Prince Harry’s decision to not appear on the balcony remains unexplained. There have been unconfirmed reports suggesting that the Duke of Sussex chose not to participate in the full day’s events.
CNN has reported that Prince Harry may not have received an invitation to the family gathering on the balcony. This information, however, has not been officially confirmed by the Palace or representatives of the Royal Family.
In related news, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and the couple’s two children did not travel to the UK for the occasion. The Coronation coincided with the fourth birthday of their son, Prince Archie. The family chose to celebrate the milestone privately, away from the public eye and royal duties.
