Deborah’s family was relocated by Apostle Chinyere to Port Harcourt following her untimely demise. However, media reports surfaced, suggesting that the family faced harassment from their landlord to either renew their rent or vacate the rented apartment, as they had not yet received the promised estate.

Investigations by The Guardian revealed that at the time of the family’s relocation, the 14-flat mini estate promised to them was still under construction. As a result, Apostle Chinyere arranged for the family to reside in a rented apartment while work on their gifted estate continued. A recent visit to their permanent residence in the Omokiri community of Aluu, Ikwerre Local Council in Rivers State, confirmed that the mini estate consisting of 14 self-contained apartments had been completed, and the family had moved in.

Deborah’s mother, speaking through an interpreter, denied allegations of abandonment by the OPM founder, stating that false stories were being spread to discourage him from helping others. She clarified that there were no issues between the family and Apostle Chinyere, emphasizing that it was the clergy who relocated them to the estate after their rental period expired.

Deborah’s father, Emmanuel Samuel, confirmed that all the documents and keys for the 14 flats had been handed over to him. He expressed gratitude to Apostle Chinyere, stating, “Daddy has given us all, and we are grateful.”

Apostle Chinyere explained that he had rented an apartment for the family because the promised estate was not yet ready at the time of their relocation. He attributed any misinterpretation of the situation to the family’s media interpreter, who faced difficulties communicating in English. The clergy criticized the media for publishing the information without verifying it directly.

Additionally, Apostle Chinyere acknowledged that the lawyer he hired to manage the estate had traveled abroad without adequately briefing the family or providing them with their house documents. He assured the congregation that he had instructed the lawyer to hand over the keys and documents to the family, and they now had access to their permanent property.

The clarification by Deborah’s family and Apostle Chinyere aims to address the misunderstandings surrounding their living arrangements and the progress of the promised estate.
