Kizz Daniel has appointed his former G-world-wide boss, Emperor Geezy, as the chief executive officer of his own label.
Kizz Daniel, who rose to prominence under the guidance of Emperor Geezy, the founder of G-Worldwide Entertainment revealed in a recent interview with media personality, Angela Yee on New York’s Power 105.1 FM that he appointed his former boss and new CEO of his own record label, Fly Boi Inc.
The “Woju” crooner also disclosed he’d signed a new artiste, Pryme, to his music label.
He said: “Recently, I stepped down from being the CEO of Fly Boi Inc. So, I signed up Emperor Geezy as the new CEO of Fly Boi Inc. And we just signed a new artist, Prime; that’s his name. He’s really good. He’s also on my upcoming album.”
In 2017, Kizz Daniel’s relationship with G-Worldwide Entertainment turned sour, leading to a highly publicised legal battle over his contract.
Eventually, he parted ways with the label, establishing his own label, Flyboy Inc.
The court case lingered for a long while prompting Vado to change his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel.
But last year, Kizz mended fences with his former boss, born Festus Ehimare.
The duo was seen having a good time together. Also in a music video on Instagram, Emperor Geezy was spotted dancing to Daniel’s ‘Oshe’ which was his latest single at the time.
The singer wrote in the post, “Peace, love, and respect.”
