LAGOS – Angel, a contestant in the popular reality show, Big Brother Naija All Stars, has made some eye-catching disclosures regarding her mother’s affiliations within the Nigerian entertainment scene.
In a heart-to-heart with fellow housemate, Omashola, the 23-year-old reality star divulged that her mother, Titilala, had romantic ties with renowned artist, D’banj (Oladapo Daniel), and was closely acquainted with famed media personality, Denrele Edun.
“Growing up, Denrele was like a household name for us. He was practically a friend to my mother, and their bond was tight,” Angel shared, indicating the depth of the connection between the TV star and her family.
She further revealed, “My mother was quite the figure in the entertainment sector. She was familiar with a lot of celebrities because she was actively involved at some point.”
As the discussion took a more personal turn, Angel confided in Omashola about her mother’s past relationships. “You know, my mom had a thing with someone famous in the industry.” Curious, Omashola probed further, leading Angel to whisper about her mother’s previous relationship with D’banj.
Reacting with slight surprise, Omashola commented, “Your mother must be quite young.”
To which Angel replied, “She really is. She just turned 40 this March.”
