DSS Intelligence Report: Abuja Youth Group Urges Vigilance Against Violence Amid Politically Driven Protests
Protecting Nigeria’s Future by Rejecting Violence

In a bid to address growing concerns regarding the security of the nation, the Abuja Original Inhabitant Youth and Empowerment Organization (AOIYEO) has issued a stern advisory to the youth populace. The group’s president, Commandant Isaac David, spoke out strongly against attempts to manipulate young people into participating in actions that could undermine the country’s stability.

The call to action by AOIYEO comes in response to an intelligence report from the Department of State Security Service (DSS), which revealed disturbing efforts by certain politicians to mobilize unsuspecting student leaders, ethnic-based associations, youth, and disgruntled groups for potentially violent protests across the country.

Commandant Isaac David, in a passionate address, challenged Nigerian youths to remain vigilant and resist the influence of what he referred to as “evil plotters” who exploit them whenever they seek to disrupt the peace of the nation. He stressed that numerous lives have been tragically lost in the past during confrontations with security forces, emphasizing that “youths should not succumb to any form of inducement from those who do not genuinely have their best interests at heart.”

Furthermore, David urged the youth to prioritize the growth and development of the nation by refraining from engaging in activities that could jeopardize the country’s progress. He stated, “By avoiding these actions, the government can allocate all its resources to the nation’s development without the burden of managing crises.”

On behalf of AOIYEO, he implored the youth not to allow themselves to be used as tools to disrupt the country, cautioning against being manipulated by politicians for their own agendas. David emphasized that “it is during times of peace, cooperation, and tranquility that the nation can truly prosper.”

“Youths have promising lives ahead of them, and they represent the future leadership of our nation. If these youths are misguided into unnecessary protests, Nigeria may lose the opportunity to be governed by its finest minds. Our young people must contemplate this prospect and reject any form of violence,” he asserted.

It is noteworthy that the DSS had previously disclosed its findings, revealing plots by certain politicians to exploit students, youths, and others to stage violent protests in Abuja and nationwide. These protests were intended to discredit the federal government and security agencies, ostensibly in response to various socio-economic issues.

AOIYEO’s message serves as a timely reminder for Nigerian youth to remain vigilant, prioritize the nation’s development, and resist external influences that may compromise their future and the stability of the country.
