In a somber turn of events, the Isa-Sabon federal constituency of Sokoto State is plunged into mourning as they bid farewell to one of its own, Honorable AbdulKadii Jelani Danbuga, a member of the House of Representatives, who passed away.
The late legislator, who was elected under the banner of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), succumbed to illness in the nation’s capital, Abuja, on Tuesday evening, marking the end of a distinguished political career and leaving a void in the hearts of many.
It was revealed that he had been battling a severe illness for some time, although specific details regarding the nature of his ailment were not disclosed. Despite his valiant struggle, Hon. Danbuga ultimately succumbed to the ravages of his illness, leaving behind a legacy of public service and dedication to his constituents.
Funeral arrangements have been set in motion, with the late legislator scheduled to be laid to rest at 11 a.m. in Sokoto State.
