Portable, the singer known for his eccentricity, has fired back at the self-described influencer, VeryDarkMan, who suggested in a leaked conversation that Portable should have a paternity test for one of his children and also deserves jail time for mishandling the national currency.
The crackdown on naira abusers gained momentum last week after the well-known transgender celebrity, Bobrisky, was incarcerated for flaunting cash at social gatherings.
VeryDarkMan himself was detained a few weeks earlier, spending nine days in a cell after he made derogatory remarks about the Nigerian police force. This experience may have influenced his belief that others should also “cool off” in prison as he did.
When Bobrisky faced jail time, Portable publicly pleaded with the Nigerian police, promising never to disrespect the naira again.
Despite this, VeryDarkMan, positioning himself as a crusader for truth, has argued that the ‘Zeh’ singer should face arrest too. He also questioned the paternity of one of the children of Portable’s baby mama, recommending a DNA test.
Portable, never one to shy away from confrontation, has vehemently responded to VDM, criticizing him for his meddling and audacity in commenting on his family matters. He labeled VeryDarkMan as garrulous and foolish for trying to involve the police and for his presumptive claims about his child.
“Verydarkman you talk too much, how dare you say I should do DNA test for my kids?” –
