Lana Del Rey and Quavo Release Collaborative Music Video for "Tough"

Lana Del Rey and Quavo have unveiled their highly anticipated collaboration, “Tough,” with a sun-drenched music video that premiered on Wednesday morning. After weeks of teasing the track, the duo has finally shared the new single with fans.

“Tough” opens with Del Rey’s signature twangy guitar strings before transitioning into Quavo’s trap beats at the one-minute mark. Quavo’s verse kicks off with the line, “Come on, take a ride with me / Like the 808s beatin’ in the trunk in Atlanta, it was tough.”

The music video, directed by Wyatt Spain Winfrey—known for his work on notable Migos videos like “Why Not” and “Need It”—features Del Rey and Quavo in a series of intimate and picturesque settings. The pair is seen exploring the countryside, lounging in a field of tall grass, nearly sharing a kiss, and playing an acoustic guitar in front of a quaint cottage. In other scenes, Quavo drives while Del Rey rides shotgun, with scenic country landscapes flashing by.

Although the single was initially rumored to be part of Del Rey’s upcoming country album, “Lasso,” it currently appears only on Quavo’s YouTube channel.
