An employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), Auwal Dankode, has earned widespread praise for his act of integrity after returning $10,000, roughly N16 million, that he found while cleaning an aircraft at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.
Dankode, who hails from Kode in Kano State, discovered the money during his routine cleaning duties. Without hesitation, he reported the find to the airline company’s manager to ensure that the rightful owner could be located.
