Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ruth Akpan, popularly known as Ruthee, has shared her thoughts on returning to the show’s ninth season, No Loose Guard, as a guest. Despite not competing for the prize money a second time, Ruthee expressed her gratitude for the unique opportunity to re-enter the house.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Ruthee explained, “I did not feel bad for returning to Big Brother’s house even though I went back as a guest the second time. I was happy I got a second chance because it doesn’t happen every time, and that made me feel special.”
Looking back on her time in the house, Ruthee admitted to having some tense moments with other housemates, confessing that she regretted certain things she said. However, she made it clear that she is focused on moving forward and doesn’t want to dwell on past issues.
Addressing misconceptions about her personality, Ruthee set the record straight, stating, “I am not rude or proud, but I work with energy. I could be in the same space with many people and be cordial with all of them. But if the vibe is not giving me what I want, then that’s a no.”
Known for her minimalistic style, Ruthee also shared that while she is not a fan of heavy make-up, her lip gloss is a constant companion.
