Jake E. Lee, the renowned guitarist best known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, has been hospitalized following a shooting in Las Vegas. According to his representative, Jake was shot multiple times on Tuesday morning while walking his dog.

Despite the severity of the attack, the musician is now fully conscious and recovering in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. Medical professionals expect him to make a full recovery.

Authorities do not believe Jake was specifically targeted, describing the incident as a “completely random” street shooting. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.

Jake and his family have requested privacy as he heals from his injuries.

Lee became Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist in 1982, following the tragic death of Randy Rhoads, and contributed to iconic albums such as Bark at the Moon (1983) and The Ultimate Sin (1986). His guitar solos on tracks like “Shot in the Dark” and “Killer of Giants” remain fan favorites.
