Hilda Dirisu, the ex-girlfriend of Big Brother Naija reality star Soma, has leveled serious accusations against him, claiming he stalked and physically abused her. Dirisu alleged that despite Soma’s public involvement with fellow BBNaija star Angel Smith during and after the All-Stars season, he continued to attempt to revive his relationship with her.
The allegations surfaced after a photo of Dirisu wearing a bracelet, allegedly taken by Soma from Angel and given to her, went viral. Fans of Angel reacted strongly, accusing Dirisu of stealing the bracelet. In response, Dirisu took to social media to address the accusations, redirecting attention to Soma and his actions.
Posting on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Dirisu wrote, “Since last year’s show, I don’t think I’ve caught a break from his fans, shippers, family members, or Somadina himself. This morning, I woke up to tags on Twitter about a ‘stolen bracelet or cat collar.’ God please!”
She urged the public to ask Soma how the bracelet came into her possession and recounted a troubling incident from earlier this year. “Ask him what happened at my house in late April this year—how he drugged me, hit me, tied me up,” Dirisu alleged.
As of now, Soma has not issued any public statement or response regarding the claims made by Dirisu.
