Apple Set to Launch New iPads, Apple TV, AirTags and More This October

Apple October Event 2025

Tech giant, Apple Inc., is expected to unveil a range of new hardware products before the end of October, including updated models of the iPad Pro, Apple TV, HomePod Mini, and AirTags.

Though the company has not officially confirmed a launch event, reports suggest Apple may opt for a series of online announcements or press releases, rather than a live event, similar to its product drops during Diwali season last year.

According to industry leaks, the announcements are expected to begin in the last week of October, though some sources claim it could start earlier.

What to Expect

The biggest highlight is the anticipated iPad Pro refresh, which may come equipped with the new M5 chip, promising improved performance. Though no major design overhaul is expected, sources hint at dual front cameras, fresh colour options, and the introduction of Apple’s upcoming iOS 26 Liquid Glass UI.

Apple’s highly anticipated Vision Pro headset is also rumoured to appear this month. Regulatory filings indicate it may launch with a more comfortable design, possibly featuring an M4 or M5 chip, and a new Space Black colour variant.

Also on the list is the HomePod Mini, which may be updated with Wi-Fi 7 support, smarter chipset integration, and a possible red colour variant.

A new generation of AirTags is said to be in the pipeline, offering extended tracking range, tamper-proof features, and better battery notifications.

For home entertainment lovers, Apple is reportedly preparing to roll out a new Apple TV, expected to run on the powerful A17 Pro chip and include FaceTime camera support for video calls on the big screen.

Apple has yet to make an official announcement, but insiders believe the tech company is aiming to build momentum heading into the holiday season with this major hardware refresh.

Nigerians keen on Apple devices are advised to watch out for availability updates and pricing changes in local retail outlets in the coming weeks.
