Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly rejected claims linking her to the alleged drug abuse controversy surrounding actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
In an Instagram statement issued on Monday, Montana stated she has “no involvement or connection” to the matter and wrote the post to “set the record straight and protect my peace.”
The denial follows a detailed Facebook post from Senator Nwoko, in which he accused Regina’s siblings and close friends – mentioning Montana among them – of sabotaging his wife’s rehabilitation by ignoring medical restrictions and allegedly providing her with drugs.
The drama intensifies a public feud that began when Regina appeared in a viral video two weeks ago claiming she suffered domestic abuse and described herself as a “slave” in her husband’s home.
Senator Nwoko responded by accusing his wife of “drug and alcohol addiction” and of abusing domestic staff. Regina, in turn, alleged that Nwoko introduced her to the substances he now blames her for using, locked her up, confiscated her phones, and forced himself on her.
