JAMB releases 2026 UTME examination slips for all candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced on Thursday that candidates who registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination can now print their examination notification slips. Fabian Benjamin, the board's Public Communication Adviser, made the announcement in a statement released in Abuja.

The UTME will begin on April 16, and candidates must print their slips to confirm their examination dates, venues and times. Benjamin instructed candidates to visit JAMB's website and select the "2026 UTME Slip Printing" option to access and download their notification slips immediately.

Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips without delay and familiarize themselves with their assigned examination centers before the test date. This early preparation helps candidates avoid last-minute confusion and logistical problems on examination day. Each candidate has been assigned a specific examination schedule that appears on their notification slip.

The board emphasised that candidates should arrive at their examination centers well ahead of the scheduled start time. Early arrival allows adequate time for proper screening and accreditation procedures before examinations commence. Benjamin warned that candidates who arrive late may face restrictions or exclusion from the examination hall.

JAMB has introduced enhanced security measures for the 2026 UTME to prevent examination malpractice and maintain the integrity of the test. The board issued a stern warning to both candidates and examination center operators to avoid any form of misconduct. Benjamin stated that strict sanctions would be applied against anyone caught violating examination rules, including candidates and center staff involved in cheating or other irregularities.

Candidates should prepare their registration details and identification documents before visiting examination centers on April 16. The notification slip serves as proof of registration and contains all essential information needed for the examination. Any candidate unable to access their slip through the website should contact JAMB's support team for assistance.
