The Ekiti North lawmaker's rejection adds to the growing list of complaints from aspirants who contested the APC primary. Kolawole represents Ekiti North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. His call for a review puts pressure on the APC's national leadership to either stand by the primary results or open the door to fresh elections, a move that could further delay the party's preparations for upcoming elections.
The party has not yet responded to Kolawole's demand. Party insiders say the leadership will likely wait to see how many other aspirants formally lodge complaints before deciding whether to order a review or defend the primary results as valid.
