FC 26 players pay vastly different SBC costs across console, PC platforms

FC 26 players chasing the latest meta cards through Squad Building Challenges are spending wildly different amounts depending on whether they play on console or PC, with price gaps reaching nearly 20,000 coins per card.

Yannick Carrasco's TOTS Honourable Mentions SBC costs 61,500 coins on PlayStation and Xbox but jumps to 80,700 coins on PC, according to FUTBIN data. That 19,200-coin difference means PC players shell out roughly a third more for the same player card, a gap that compounds across an entire squad rebuild.

The price disparity stems from how each platform's player base interacts with the transfer market. Console versions of FC 26 have deeper player pools and more active trading, which keeps card prices competitive. PC's smaller community means fewer cards in circulation and less competition among sellers, allowing them to price cards higher.

For serious Squad Battle grinders saving coins to complete multiple SBCs, platform choice becomes a major financial decision. A player spending 500,000 coins across multiple challenges could save 80,000 to 100,000 coins simply by playing on console instead of PC. That's enough to complete another expensive SBC or build an entirely different meta squad.

The gap isn't consistent across all cards. Some TOTS players and special editions show even larger spreads, while common gold cards trade more evenly across platforms. But the pattern holds: PC players consistently pay premium prices for the same digital assets.

FUTBIN updates its pricing data daily based on transfer market activity, so players can check their specific cards before committing coins. Experienced FC 26 traders often monitor both platforms to spot opportunities, though cross-platform trading doesn't exist in the game.
