Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo is celebrating 19 years of blissful union with his spouse.
The screen icon shared photos on his Instagram page, stating how his wife, Abike, still has him laughing and loving every moment they share after 19 years.
One of Nigeria’s most revered movie stars, Richard Mofe-Damijo’s career started in the late 80s, featuring in a television soap opera called Ripples.
He won the Africa Movie Academy Award in 2005 for Best Actor in a Leading Role and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2016.
Mofe-Damijo is also a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State. His tenure ended in 2015.
His movies include Out of Bounds (1997), Scores to Settle (1998), Private Sin (2003), Angels of Destiny (2006), and God Calling (2019).
