Prince Harry has made it known to the general public that he wants to be addressed as “Harry.”
The Duke of Sussex was in attendance at the Travalyst Sustainable Tourism Summit held in Edinburgh, Scotland today Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
Just before he mounted the stage, the host Ayesha Hazarika told the crowd that he only wanted to be referred to by just his first name.
Harry’s decision shouldn’t come as a shock as they had their fair of that when he and wife Megan Markle announced their plans back in January to step back as members of the royal family, planning to split their time shuttling between the U.K. and North America.
Harry and Megan will no longer take on representative duties on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II and have dropped their HRH titles as they will no longer be working members of the family from Spring 2020.
Harry’s attending the summit marked his first time back in the U.K. since reuniting with his wife and son Archie in Canada where they all currently reside.
