Kano Lawmakers In Free For All Fight Over Petition Against Emir Sanusi [VIDEO]

Some Lawmakers at the Kano state House of Assembly engaged in physical combat during plenary on Monday over the petition it received last week to probe Emir Sanusi.

Odunews.com reports that a petition was submitted to the Assembly by a group alleging the Emir of violation of the culture and tradition of Kano.

The situation became rowdy as the Deputy Speaker requested approval of the House to present the report today.

Trouble broke out when Chidari, in his attempt to make observation known to members, was instantly opposed by members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Assembly.

There was an attempt to snatch the Mace of the house as some of the Lawmakers were almost embarking in a fisticuff.
