Rita Wilson, wife of legendary Hollywood star Tom Hanks has disclosed what drew her to him when they first met.
Wilson, who is also an actress, made the disclosure on an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Host Kelly Clarkson commented on how chatty Tom Hanks was when he appeared on her show last year, and Wilson responded by saying that his talkative nature that was one of the things that made the two of them get along easily during their first meeting.
Wilson said:
“First of all, I love a good storyteller. So, anybody who could tell a good story, I’m down with that.”
The actress revealed that she grew up in a very vocal household and didn’t mind Tom’s chatty nature.
“I love that. He makes me laugh all the time. He’s a great storyteller”, she commented.
Wilson’s episode on the show was recorded before she and her husband’s COVID-19 diagnosis. Both of them have guy recovered.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson got married in 1988 and have two sons: Chet (29) and Truman (24). The veteran actor has two children from his first marriage – Colin (41) and Elizabeth (37).
