Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has stated that his is in the fifth year of his coronavirus quarantine and he isn’t sure where we are.
The Canadian actor made the hilarious comments on Jimmy Fallon‘s The Tonight Show on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, where he also spoke briefly on his upcoming movie Free Guy.
Reynolds opened up to the late night host about how he is coping in isolation, saying that his time in quarantine “vacillates between deep beautiful connection and suddenly, the third act of Aliens.”
The movie star is currently sheltering at home with his wife, actress Blake Lively, their three kids and his mother-in-law.
Reynolds jokingly said during the show that he is in “year 5” of quarantine, adding “I’m not sure where we are.”
When asked how his daughters are handling the situation, Reynolds joked that they will look back at this time and recall that once, their father was present.
Fallon talked with him about his upcoming film Free Guy, a flick which follows a bank teller who is continuously injured daily and suddenly realizes that he is a background character in an open-world video game.
Free Guy was described by Reynolds as a “hybrid of Fortnite and GTA” in a wilder, stylized world. He said it’s his favorite of the films he has been part of so far.
