The English Premier League plans to restart the season with a face-off between Manchester United and Tottenham, Daily Mail reports.
The game, which sees Jose Mourinho go up against his old club, was originally due to take place on March 15, but for the lockdown being enforced.
Even though all 20 clubs are yet to reach agreement on the restart, the Premier League is pushing ahead with their plans and have already drawn up a timetable for how the season can be concluded.
League bosses plan to have a bonanza of football every weekend, with matches staggered across Saturday and Sunday and sandwiched in between Monday and Friday night games.
To kick off the resumption of the season, a match between Manchester United and Tottenham has been earmarked as the first fixture of the abridged end to the campaign.
The match will be played at Spurs’ new stadium, after clubs rejected plans to play at neutral venues.
