The Nigerian soldiers on Friday arrested the Osun state chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Asiri Eniba in Osogbo, Odunews reports.

Eniba who is known to be close to the Oyetola led-government of the state was nabbed alongside others with guns and cutlasses.
This is coming as the state prepares for its governorship election scheduled for Saturday, July 16th.

The state governor is seeking reelection but faces stiff competition from the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party Ademola Adeleke and the Labour Party Lasun Yusuf.
