Actor and singer Drake Bell has reached his breaking point as he faces a barrage of online harassment, with internet trolls accusing him of being a pedophile.
The targeted attacks have taken a severe toll on Bell’s mental health, pushing him to the brink of suicide. He warns that if the online abuse doesn’t cease, those responsible will have “blood on their hands.”
Over the past few days, Bell has been actively engaging with various Twitter accounts that have been spreading false allegations about him, labeling him as a “pedo” and a registered sex offender. In a series of emotionally charged tweets, Bell has attempted to defend himself and dispel the baseless accusations. He has expressed his frustration and despair, stating, “You people are destroying my life.”
In one exchange, a fan accused Bell of being a pedophile, while another defended him by stating he is not. Bell joined the conversation, urging people to do their research before spreading harmful rumors. He emphasized the devastating impact of these allegations on his daily life, saying that they are “literally going to kill me.”
Bell’s mental health struggles have been further exacerbated by recent personal challenges. Last week, he went missing, prompting his wife to file for divorce. The authorities initially considered him “endangered” before locating him several hours later. According to Bell’s brother, the actor had threatened suicide due to child custody issues.

The ongoing harassment seems to stem from a 2021 case in which Bell received a two-year probation sentence after pleading guilty to one felony charge of attempted endangering of children. A woman alleged that she and Bell exchanged sexual messages and photos when she was 15 years old and later engaged in a sexual act at one of his shows. However, Bell did not have to register as a sex offender as a result of that case, which makes the false accusations on social media all the more infuriating for him.
In the midst of these personal and public crises, Bell also revealed on Twitter that he learned about his estranged wife Janet’s divorce filing through TMZ. He responded by sharing a link to his new song, “Going Away,” seemingly addressing the current turmoil in his life.
