Footage shows the West Coast rapper being handcuffed and led away by the police after a traffic stop initiated in the immediate aftermath of the incident. However, sources say that Mozzy was only briefly detained and isn’t facing any charges related to the shooting.
One member of his crew, however, was arrested in connection with the shooting. The person’s identity and the charges they face are still unclear, but law enforcement sources say Wichita PD has reason to believe he might be a suspect.
Online footage from the scene shows a chaotic scenario involving a scuffle that escalated into gunfire, leading to a panicked exit by patrons.
Law enforcement sources reveal that seven people, aged between 22 to 34, were shot during the incident, with injuries ranging from minor bullet grazes to serious gunshot wounds. Some are reported to be in critical condition.
