Nigeria’s eagerly awaited reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9, is set to premiere on Sunday, July 28, according to the show’s organizers.
The announcement was made on the official social media platforms of BBNaija on Friday.
“#BBNaija Season 9 is HERE! This is a must-follow Season! Get ready for double the drama, ships, and HUGE competition! Cameras 24/7 for 71 days,” the post read.
The show’s premiere is scheduled for 7pm WAT and is sponsored by Guinness Nigeria Plc.
Earlier, on July 1, the organizers teased the upcoming season with a social media post: “One Sunday in July, Get Ready! What’s better than One? Remember to mark your calendars! #BBNaijaS9.”
While details about the grand prize and other rewards remain undisclosed, the new twist for Season 9 includes male and female housemates pairing up.
