JAMB delists 23 CBT centres across 11 states over mock UTME failures

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has delisted 23 computer-based test centres across 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory following technical failures during the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The board took this action after an internal review revealed that these centres failed to meet required technical and operational standards.

The affected centres span Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, the FCT, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo and Plateau States. Lagos State has the highest concentration with five centres removed from the approved list. These include Florin High School in Ejigbo, Folbob CBT Centre in Ibeju-Lekki, Great Kezino College CBT Centre in Ikorodu, Obans CBT Centre also in Ikorodu, and Teesas Learning and CBT Centre along Lekki Expressway.

Delta State recorded four delisted centres, while Oyo State had three centres removed. Other states affected include Abia with Micben, Seat of Wisdom Academy Umunteke Asa, Anambra with Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre in Awka and The Oracle Lens at Ubili Town Hall, and Bayelsa with Derby's Young ICT Centre in Yenagoa. In Edo State, Daniet Global Resources on Akpakpava Road and Moses and Grace College of Health Sciences and Technology CBT Centre in Benin City were affected. The FCT had two centres delisted: De-Lite CBT Centre at Model Secondary School, Maitama, and Zulqud Consult Ltd CBT Centre at Government Secondary School, Lugbe.

JAMB stated that only centres meeting its operational guidelines will participate in the main UTME examination. The board aims to ensure a smooth and credible examination process by maintaining strict technical standards across all testing centres nationwide.
