After weeks in quarantine, veteran actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are back in the United States.
Hanks had been in Australia for the filming of an Elvis Presley biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann, but it had to be halted in the wake of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Since announcing that they had contracted the virus, the pair has promoted the importance of social distancing on social media.
Some days ago, Rita Wilson had given out her phone number to get suggestions on how others were practicing social distancing as her husband provided regular updates on their health status.
It’s good to know that they have recovered but being back in Los Angles (their present location) raises questions like; are they going into further self-isolation or will they just go back to living their normal lives?
Most likely, they will both obey orders to remain indoors as the United States still battles the increasing number of confirmed cases.
It’s undoubtedly been a rough time for everyone but it’s important to still take precautionary measures while hoping that the pandemic will come to an end soon.
