Tyler Perry’s Investigation Confirms Cause Of Cousin’s Death

Tyler Perry has confirmed how his recently deceased cousin Gavin Porter died.

It was reported in late February that the young man was in solitary confinement was found dead of apparent suicide but the filmmaker chose to conduct his own investigation to satisfy himself that there was no foul play.

Posting an update on his Facebook page, Tyler Perry disclosed that he had spoken with Dr. Michael Baden after he concluded the autopsy.

The actor said that he was relieved to hear that the doctor was 98% sure that there was no foul play in his cousin’s death, just as the Sheriff had stated.

Gavin Porter had been sentenced to twenty years in prison for killing his dad in front of his mother. His famous movie star cousin had wanted him to come for him at his studios to get his life back together after he had served time.
