The 54-year-old author is best known for writing the ‘Harry Potter’ books which went to become one of the highest-grossing screen adaptations of all time.

She has won multiple awards and her books have sold over 500 million copies.

Rowling revealed yesterday that she experienced all the symptoms of COVID-19 for the last two weeks, adding that she hadn’t been tested though.

She wrote:

“For the last two weeks, I’ve had all symptoms of C19 (tho haven’t been tested).
Thank you for your kind and lovely messages! I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that’s recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me. Stay safe, everyone x.”

In the video she shared, Dr. Sarfaraz Munshi (who works at Queen’s Hospital in Romford, east London) said that the practice is used on intensive care patients and added that the technique is the only way to get oxygen into the base of the lungs – which can help anyone fight the infection.
