Actor Jon Voight To Be Presented With National Medal Of Arts By President Trump

Veteran Hollywood actor Jon Voight is set to be given the National Medal of Arts by US President Donald Trump.

Four recipients of the National Medal of Arts and four of the National Humanities medal were announced by the White House yesterday.

Voight is one of the few individuals in the movie industry who has voiced support for President Trump, hailing him as “the greatest president” of the country.

The presentation of the honor is an annual event but is the first in Trump’s administration.

Jonathan Vincent Voight is an American actor who has won an Academy Award and four Golden Globe Awards. He is the biological father of famous actress Angelina Jolie. His movies include Anaconda (1997) and Enemy of the State (1998).
