Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, aka Brymo, on Friday stated that he is the country’s artiste of the decade.

Brymo made this known through his official twitter handle. The artiste also said his popular single Ara is bigger than any other song in Nigeria since its release,

I’m Nigeria’s Artiste of The Decade .Oleku was the right to express deeply, and the biggest Afrobeats song ever..an honor it was my voice ..S/o  @Iceprincezamani… Ara is bigger than any other song in Nigeria since its release… and I curated ‘the alternative’

Brymo was signed to Chocolate city in 2010 but left the label in 2013 after being accused of breaching his contract .

He signed an international distribution deal with Tate Music Group in 2015. Brymo released his fifth studio album Klĭtôrĭs on 9 May 2016. It comprises 11 tracks and was preceded by the lead single “Happy Memories”. In March 2018, Brymo released his critically acclaimed sixth studio album Oṣó. Six months later, he released the self-referential fictional novel Oriri’s Plight.
