Niniola’s ability as a singer and all-round performer are on full display

Nigeria’s Afro-pop sensation Niniola is back with a revamped melody and an enjoyable video for her song Omo Rapala in which she features popular Fuji musician Obesere in a cameo appearance.

As the song starts we are treated to the songstress’ enchanting voice as she trudges through what appears to be the ghetto area of the city.

Her costumes take us back to the past where the attires then were as colorful as they were flamboyant. Niniola wears the old school look well and she is obviously in her element as she dishes out the mesmerizing rhythm for the visuals.

It’s easy to see why she is loved and valued in the entertainment scene as her abilities as a singer, dancer and performer are on full display here. Her street-savvy nature and infectious excitement make the clip worth watching.

The joy that comes off the everyday people as they enjoy the simple things of life is palpable and Niniola makes it all look so good with what best captures the tone of the song.

The second verse of the track takes the viewer to the interior of a saloon as we see more of the flashy and somewhat bizarre costumes which add flavor to the scenery. From then on it’s a dance galore as the talented singer takes us on a musical journey that does nothing but pleases the senses.

Fuji icon Obesere doesn’t lend his vocals and he doesn’t need to; his appearance is more than sufficient to make a lasting impression on a song that is delightful and appealing.
