Described as a political thriller, White Stork will see Hiddleston play a politician by the name of James Cooper, an individual whose career in the parliament is threatened by a vetting process that leaks a series of unpleasant secrets about his past.

The series is created and written by Chris Dunlop and Kristoffer Nyholm will direct the 10-episode project which was originally in development at AMC with the title Spearhead.

White Stork will be the first project that Hiddleston has embarked upon since 2017’s Kong: Skull Island that isn’t a work of animation or connected to the MCU.
