Release dates of different films like No Time To Die and Peter Rabbit 2 have been pushed back, plus Mission Impossible 7 had to be put on hold as the dreaded virus continues to run rampant.

Deadline reports that shooting for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been put on hold. The series has been filming in Atlanta for months and only just moved to Prague to continue production.

The government of Prague had to order for schools to be closed and placed restrictions on events and travel, so the Marvel series had to shut down production.

Slated to last for only a week, the shoot had to be stopped and there hasn’t been any word if production will return to the location.

This isn’t the first time the upcoming series has had to halt shooting as the 6.4 magnitude earthquake in Puerto Rico earlier this year led to similar development.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as the titular heroes. It is scheduled to premiere on Disney + in August 2020.
