Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4 will finish filming in August 2020 and the latest update shows a possible link between the highly successful series and Marvel Comics’ X-Men.
Stranger Things season 4 premiere episode name has been unveiled and it references a group of individuals in the comic books.
As is seen above, it is titled ‘The Hellfire Club’ and may involve the set of villains who often battled the mutants known as the X-Men, and some of The Hellfire Club’s most significant members appeared in both X-Men: First Class and The Gifted.
Stranger Things debuted in 2016 and has gained immense popularity, with the producers, the Duffer Brothers, currently working on its fourth season.
Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the ‘80s, it tells the story of ‘Eleven’ (played by the talented Milly Bobby Brown), who along with newly-found friends sets out to stop the otherworldly threat facing their small town.
The series is Netflix’s most-viewed to date and its homage to the pop culture and movies of the ‘80s has been well accepted by fans and critics. The upcoming fourth season will be eight episodes long and will reportedly introduce four new characters.
