The tale of the legendary blood-sucking vampire comes through Netflix, with a trailer that captures some of the horror and gory details.
Dracula is an upcoming series that is being developed for release on BBC One and Netflix. Comprising of just three episodes, it will air for three consecutive days, premiering on January 1, 2020.
Over the years, different versions of the dark character have been told on the big screen. This time his story will be told in more detail, tracing his origins in Eastern Europe to his confrontations with Van Helsing’s progeny.
The series is based on the classic novel by Bram Stoker and will focus more on his gory escapades while bringing his vulnerability to the fore.
The teaser trailer is blood-cuddling, with the titular character’s chilling words, “All you have to do is invite me in”, before baring his fangs adds to his malevolence.
