Sowore: Davido Reacts To Re-arrest Of Activist

Nigerian hip hop artist, Davido has reacted to the viral video of the Department of State Services (DSS) forcefully attempting to re-arrest Sowore.

The singer expresses his disappointment saying that justice was gradually becoming a thing of the past in Nigeria;

“a kid somewhere in Nigeria dreaming of becoming a lawyer and bettering the community would see this and start having doubts … just sad”

According to reports, the DSS had disrupted an ongoing trial of Sowore and Olawale Bakare trying to arrest him. They had also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu and brutalized a reporter with a renowned television station.
