Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has revealed how the All Progressives Congress plans to win the coming Edo state governorship election.
Ganduje, who chairs the APC campaign team for the Edo election said that his party intends to humiliate the state’s incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki and isolate his Rivers state counterpart Nyesome Wike.
The Kano State Governor spoke with newsmen shortly after his 49-member campaign council was inaugurated by the National Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) Governor Mai Mala Buni at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
He also accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being ‘only interested in the Edo State treasury’ which has made the party support Obaseki.
Ganduje further vowed to secure victory for APC at the poll.
Obaseki resigned from the APC after he was disqualified from contesting over discrepancies in his certificates.
He later joined the PDP and emerged as the party’s flagbearer in the coming elections.
