Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have written to the editors of The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, and Daily Express saying that they have severed ties with them.
Following their decision to steep down from royal duties and making the move to Los Angeles, the pair disclosed that they would no longer tolerate dealing with the tabloids because they would not “offer themselves as currency for an economy of clickbait and distortion.”
Harry and Meghan said they would have zero engagement with the mewspapers and that the only channel of communication would be through their lawyers if necessary.
The couple clarified that their latest move is not a blanket ban on all press and is not meant to censor accurate reporting as they are looking forward to working with journalists all over the world.
