Vikings Release Pro Bowl Receiver Adam Thielen

The Minnesota Vikings have released Adam Thielen, a two-time Pro Bowl selection who has played for the team for nine seasons. The 32-year-old receiver was due to have a $19.9 million cap hit in 2023, and after both sides failed to agree to a restructured contract, he will now become a free agent. Thielen's 55 touchdowns and 534 receptions rank third on the Vikings' all-time list, while his 6,682 yards rank fourth in team history. He was also known for his contributions to the community through the Thielen Foundation.
