Pope Francis discharged from hospital after bronchitis treatment

Pope Francis has been discharged from the Gemelli Hospital in Rome after receiving treatment for bronchitis and breathing difficulties. The 86-year-old pontiff left the hospital on Saturday morning and headed back to the Vatican. He had been admitted ahead of the busiest week in the Christian calendar, Holy Week, but the Vatican had earlier confirmed that he was expected to participate in the Palm Sunday service.
